1) Battery Data Scientist

As a Battery Data Scientist at ThinkClock, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to battery performance, optimizing algorithms, and contributing to the development of next-generation energy storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and battery technology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data-driven research to develop advanced models for Battery State-of-Health (SoH) estimation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate Physics-based models with Machine Learning techniques.
- Utilize digital twins and spectroscopy techniques (EIS, Acoustic/RF Spectroscopy, Thermal scanning) for in-depth battery health analytics.
- Develop and implement algorithms to interpret diagnostic insights from microscopic battery data.
- Contribute to the enhancement of BatteryScope tool for better predictive maintenance and informed warranty policies.
- Work on bespoke data collection experiments for battery systems to improve precision and standardization.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, computational modeling, and battery technologies.
- Experience in data collection and analysis for complex physical systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar.
- Familiarity with electrochemical systems and battery health monitoring.
